These units have a heated wash and heated dry cycle, as well as multiple wash cycle options. The normal wash is quite long, but it is an energy star product and uses very little water. Dishwashers generally use less water than hand washing and this one uses approximately 3 gallons of water, and it has a heat dry option.
Installation
Fitted dishwashers are normally hard wired so if you already have a dishwasher, you should be able to wire it in by re-using the existing cable.
You’ll need to buy the universal connector kit. They’re available at most hardware stores, but the one Amazon suggests is reasonably priced and will work. This one comes with several inches of electrical line with a ground wire inside a small electrical box mounted under the dishwasher.
